Currently I'm trying to identify what Device Pack is needed for DP-9841, currently on 12.5.1.18100-14.

As far as I know, you should have the 9800 phone in the database when installing the 12.5(1.22212-1) device package.

When I try to add a phone on call manager the phone type for 9841 doesn't appear, unless I'm missing something else? How can I verify what device pack is installed?

Running the command show versions active on CUCM CLI  will display the installed device package.

The command displays the following output, this is off the publisher.

That output seems to indicate that no device package has been installed. Install the device package suggested by @Nithin Eluvathingal and you’ll have the 98xx device models listed in add device.

Thank you for the assistance, would be installing the latest device pack for 12.5.

As @Roger Kallberg  mentioned, there is no  a device pack installed. Make sure to install it on all nodes, restart the required services, and then check the list of phones to ensure the device is available.

Follow the installation guide for the device package carefully. Ensure it is installed on all nodes.
