Wifi calling - port requirements

Hi,

What are the firewall required ports for wifi-calling?

I've found old article that stated: UDP ports 500, 4500, and TCP 143 ports but not sure if there are all ports that need to be allowed

We have restricted internet breakout for the visitors wlan and I wanted to allow certain ports to allow guest to use wifi calling as there is no mobile carrier signal available.

Thank you.

Regards,

Daniel

You need  5061 / 443 https for authentication, if you looking any voice mail then  993

I have not found the info about 443

So far I've found the below list listed on the EE support community forum (may be carrier dependant)

udp/500,

udp/4500,

udp/5060-5061,

udp 40283-59999

TCP - 143

Thanks,

Daniel

most provider use 443 for authentication, if the application using different port then its different case.

There is no fixed answer. It depends on the application. Some apps use
STUN, other use SIP default ports and RTP default ports, others use non
standard ports, others use 443, etc.

Find the application datasheet to get these details. Otherwise, go the
hard way of getting wireshark capture or window resource mon to see what
ports are used by the application.

Thanks,

Is this RFC standard for all mobile phones including Android phones?

Hi,

I don't have anything specific but since it's RFC I highly expect that it's
same for andriod.
