We are looking to replace our 7925s wireless phones with Spectralink 9553/9540 phones. I'm having trouble figuring out if there is a difference between the Cisco SKUs and the standard Spectralink ones. Has anyone been through this? Are there differences in performance? Are there differences in support? It seems the Cisco ones are significantly more expensive - is it worth it?
Thanks

Hi,
Check if this helps:

I think it might be some differences, try to compare this dasheet with 7925.

I love the 7925G because of stable firmware, particularly on roaming.
The "natural" replacement for the 7925G is the 8821.
A few months ago, I witnessed someone go around a health site with an 8821 and a Spectralink phone. All I can say is the Spectralink phones have better roaming capabilities.
