Xlite phone-Auto Registration with CUCM

Dear Members,

Can i make my SIP-Xlite Softphone to be Autoregistered in CUCM and getting the Extension Automatically from CUCM

Is that possible, If so Please do let me know what are the steps to be done.

Hi Senthil,

it would be impossible because 3rd-party sip phones do not get configuration file from cm, as well as username/dn is one of the mandatory steps to register 3rd-party sip phone with cm.

On the side lines(just in case), if you want to register a CISCO-SIP phone, then you just have to change a parameter for auto-registration in enterprise parameters.

You can register the manually as a SIP End Point too.
