Hi all,

I intend  to deploy a Layer 2 multipoint to multipoint but I still confused between  EoE and VPLS so someone can help me distinguish the difference of Ethernet over Ethernet vs VPLS, and configure examples such as NTT EoE are provided???

Hi,

VPLS (Virtual Private LAN Services)  is a solution that can provide layer 2 Virtual Private Network (VPN) services over Ethernet networks. It uses a combination of Ethernet and MPLS to meet the needs of carriers and customers alike. VPLS allows customer networks at geographically diverse locations to communicate with each other as if they were in the same LAN.

Check out some configuration example in VPLS
