ldp sync holddown timer

Hello All,

I have configured 'mpls ldp igp sync holddown 30000' on Cisco XE router. As the igp adjacency goes down the igp metric changes to the maximum. And because of the 30-sec hold-down timer, I expect igp sync to correct the metric value in 30 secs. But even after 30 secs the igp metric does not change to normal. Is it the correct behavior?

r1#show mpls ldp igp sync interface gi0/0
GigabitEthernet0/0:
LDP configured; LDP-IGP Synchronization enabled.
Sync status: sync not achieved; peer reachable.
Sync delay time: 0 seconds (0 seconds left)
IGP holddown time: 30000 milliseconds.
IGP enabled: ISIS 1

After 30 secs, I still see the maximum igp metric.

i L2 2.2.2.2 [115/16777224] via 100.10.20.2, 00:09:04, GigabitEthernet0/0
3.0.0.0/32 is subnetted, 1 subnets
i L2 3.3.3.3 [115/16777234] via 100.10.20.2, 00:09:04, GigabitEthernet0/0

Thanks,

Sachin
