Hello all,
Recently I upgraded my Cisco 3615 server from ISE 2.7 (Patch 9) to ISE 3.2 (Patch 5). The upgrade went smoothly but I can no longer SSH into the CLI. None of the configurations were changed and I only started having this issue once the upgrade was completed.
The error I receive when using putty is- "Remote side unexpectedly closed network connection"
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As @balaji.bandi mentioned try using different SSH client like SecureCRT or Putty. We had faced an issue when applied patch 4 (not 5) where we were not able to login using local admin account . We had to recover the password to regain the access. But in your case it looks SSH connection issue.

I ran into this issue before from upgrading from 2.2 to ISE 3.1. I first upgraded from 2.2 to 2.7 and everything was fine. I then proceeded to upgrade to ISE 3.1 and ran into the exact same issue. I contacted Cisco TAC and the /etc/ssh/sshd_config file was corrupted (some lines missing), and had to be restored from another ISE 3.1 system. It worked after restarting the sshd service from console as "root".
