93180 Management Port Configuration

Hi,

I'm trying to configure a 93180 an allow SCP.  I configured an IP 1.1.1.1/24 on the port.  On my workstation, I put 1.1.1.2/24.  I can ping the switch from the WS but I can't ping the WS from the swtich.  I added a default route to .2.   Is there anything else that is needed to allow the switch to ping the WS?

Thanks BB.  This was half of the problem.  I found the FW was turned back on after it was disabled months ago and another security app was installed on the WS.

if WS is Windows it got default FW enabled, disabled and try,

or try SCP see if that works.

Hi,

Please note that the management port (mgmt0 interface) is assigned to the management vrf by default. As such all the static/default route settings for this interface should be configured under the "vrf context management". And also the ping command should read:

"ping 1.1.1.2 vrf management".

Best regards,

Antonin
