C9300 stack prerequisites statement

Hi all,

Looking for a definite answer for stacking for C9300-24UXA  with C9300-48U-A

I'd been puzzled by the statement in the guide.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9300/software/release/17-8/configuration_guide/stck_mgr_ha/b_178_stck_mgr_ha_9300_cg/managing_switch_stacks.html

Does it consider the same model?

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Hello,

good question...the guide you have linked to does not provide a definitive answer, it can only be assumed that the C9300-24UXA wand the C9300-48U-A can be stacked, as they are not mentioned in the restriction below. Then again, assumptions are usually a bad thing. I'll try and find a definitive answer...

--> C9300-24UB, C9300-24UXB, and C9300-48UB switches can only be stacked with each other.

We check with our local dist.

C9300-24UXA and C9300-48U-A is able to stack.

Hello,

good to know, thanks for the feedback !
