Cisco 3850 Smart License after upgarde to 16.12

Hello Everyone
I have a situation where the customer wants to upgrade ten Cisco 3850-24XS-S which already have an IOS version 16.6.8 with traditional IP-Base license to the new recommended IOS version 16.12.
since I upgrade the switches to version 16.12, 90days Eval started.
Let's assume the customer had bought this equipment in 2018 with the permanent IP Base license without any related Smart Account.
my main concern is :
1) What happens when 90day ends??
2) How can I use PLR License if I don't have any license or account???

You can convert PAK License to smart License on the cisco portal. nothing will happen to your device since it base license you.

Nothing.  Nothing happens.  The logs will only get spammed with CSL "nags". 

IMPORTANT: 

Please reconsider using 16.12.X.  This train is FUBAR.  Use the latest 16.9.X instead.
