SG300-28PP 28-Port Gigabit PoE+. How to Enable POE+

Hi All

I have a SG300-28PP 28-Port Gigabit PoE+ switch but the PoE+ is not working on it.

Does the PoE+ need to be enabled on selected ports? Or is it automatic.

Thanks for your reply.

I upgraded the firmware to the latest version but still having the same problem. It's an IP camera that requires PoE+. Any other ideas?

what camera is this ? what interface presentation 10/100 or gig ?

can you post show power inline consumption , also try different ports and same results.

Also look some settings :

also check some notes :

N OTE The switch can deliver a maximum of 15.4 Watts to any 10/100 or
Gigabit PoE port. The 24MP, 28MP, 52P and 52MP models of the switch
can deliver a maximum of 30 Watts to any PoE port.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately PoE+ doesn't seem to be working on it. Its for an IP camera that requires it but no luck.

Hello,

you might want to toggle the PoE Properties and set the maximum power limit to the highest value (see page 219 of the attached admin guide).

Also, what brand/type/model is the IP Camera ?
