I don't know the answer but the following Cisco discussion might provide some insight.

Chris,

Starting in 9.1, you are able to select the private VLAN.

Here is the relevant 9.1 documentation:

Procedure Guide Chapter 1:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/optical/15000r9_1/dwdm/procedure/guide/454d91_installshelf.html

NTP-G159 Configure a Cisco Catalyst 2950 for a Multishelf Node

or

NTP-G294 Configure the MS-ISC-100T Card for a Multishelf Node for Non-Default Public and Private VLAN IDs

Procedure Guide Chapter 2:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/optical/15000r9_1/dwdm/procedure/guide/454d91_turnupnode.html

NTP-G144 Provision a Multishelf Node

Thanks,

Will

Thanks guys, I knew I thought I'd seen it somewhere, just couldn't remember where.  As an aside I actually requested this functionality over 2 years ago so I may in some small way have been instrumental in the enhancement.

Thanks again

Chris
