hi folks,
currently having a 3640 router with 2 FXO port module connected to the PSTN. Have tried the method of disabling the VAD via CM (Silence Suppression feature in Service Parameter) as well as placing No VAD on the router global config mode.
However, when making a call out to a external party, the party still recvs the "silence" treatment, rather than hearing the "comfort noise".
Any directions will be appreciated. Thanks!
