My customer has CCM 4.1 with all the IP phones installed under a region operated under G729 codec.
We have installe Auto Attendant and found that it operateds on G711.
1. Is there any way to change the default codec on Auto Attendant ?
2. If not is there any way to integrate this application with G729 region by installing DSP resourced etc ?

I don't there is any way to change the default codec on Auto Attendant .

Configure transcoding resources with available DSP modules in a router at the same site as the auto attendant. The transcoding resource will take the G729 call coming accross the WAN and transcode it to G711 for the auto attendant. Make sure to add the transcoding resource to a Media Group that the G729 phones are using.
