Blind-Visitors Door Bell needs to ring Extension for Handicap Access to Bld

We need to have Blind/Handicap visitors access the building. They need to press an intercom button and have that ring on an extension inside at the secretarys desk so she can pick up the call and talk to them. We want to know if we can program another button on the phone that can be wired to an external switch to open the contacts on our security door ?

What other devices do we need to purchase to complete this task..... Pls Help

You would connect to a FXO port on a router set as a PLAR to the phone you want to ring. To unlock the door you enter a code from the phone keypad.

I have had good luck with Valcom products.
