Anyone know if there's a way to block incoming calls from a single number to the whole call-manager system if you're using MGCP gateways (and if you're not blessed with Personal Assistant licenses? We used to be able to do it with H323 and I'm having trouble seeing how to do it with MGCP...

Hi Ken,
I don't know of a way to accomplish it right now. Cisco CallManager routes (or refuses to route) calls based on only the called party number, not the calling party number.
Of course, Cisco Personal Assistant would allow this to happen as you mentioned.
Also, you could do it through the use of a CRA script (IP IVR) but this is also a purchased application. The free CRA engine only allows you to configure the basic Auto Attendant, and Extension Mobility.

Ok - that's what I was afraid of :-/
Oh well - I'll keep hoping :-)
