Does anybody know how to make a hookflash transfer work so that when an ip phone is forwarded, it will do a hookflash transfer? We have Centrex and to transfer a phone call to an outside number, you can hit flash-dial number-flash-hangup and the call will be connected. We would like to setup the CallforwardAll function to do the same.

this is not doable at this time - the reason is this is 2 different sofkeys and the call flow is different. In case of manual transfer, the user is invoking the transfer and it puts the incoming call on hold. In case of CFwdAll the call is just being re routed and will pick another trunk available.

any suggestions? we have about 5 extensions that are for "field engineers" that sometimes are in the office (at their ip phone extension) but mostly are offiste (on their cell phones). Do I just need to get 5x2 phone lines? every call that is forwarded to an outside line will take up two lines (one for the incoming call and one for the outgoing call).
thanks

How did you setup the hookflash to Centrex using an IP Phone? I'm running CUCM 8.6 and cannot figure out how to set this up. Currenty every call that is transfered to an outside line is taking up two lines.
