Is there a utility provided by cisco in order to change the windows administrator password to the CRS Engine (i.e. IPCC Express)? or Can I change the password as we normally do with windows servers and also change the password of the services that log on using the administrator account??
Thanks in advanced,
-Jose

Here is the procedure for the changing the windows login password in CRA Server
1. Press ALT + CTRL + DEL - click change password and change the password.
2. Go to "Services" and select "Cisco CRA Engine" service.
3. Right click on the selected service and -> click Properties.
4. Go to - "Log on" tab.
5. In the password field give the new password.
6. Press Ok button and come back to Services screen.
Follow step 2 to step 6 for the following services.
Cisco Desktop Rascal Server
Cisco Desktop Sync Server
Cisco Desktop TAI Server
CiscoCRAServletEngine
After changing the password reboot the server. Check the status of the above services after the logon.

Thanks Venkat..
After changing the password everything is up as normal. Do you know if newer version of CRS.. maybe 4.0 would need to have the desktop_cfg folder share for the agents with read/write access???
That scares me..
TIA,
-Jose

Hi Jose,
Desktop share is enabled on desktop_cfg folder starting from CRS 3.0 till CRS 3.5. Not sure about IPCC Express 4.0. Please touch base with the product management(ask-icd-ivr-pm@external.cisco.com) team for the same.

CRS 4.0 is moving away from the need for the mapped drive. It is supposed to be LDAP based.
