We upgraded CER to 10.5.1.10000-5 so it would support our new 3650 switch stacks. CER is discovering some of these new switches and others we are getting an error mess stating that the device is not supported. All switches are running version 03.03.04SE and all switches have the same configurations for SNMP and CDP.

Our issues is mainly on the 3650 stacks not individual 3650 switches, individual switches discovers fine. Looks like there is a bug ID CSCuu15949 filed for this with no workaround or solution, it is there in version 11.X as well. Not sure anyone else had faced this issue. Hope Cisco will resolve this ASAP.

We rolled back to version 3.3.3SE and it fixed the problem. We tried 3.3.5SE but it seems to have the same bug. We only saw this issue with stacks. Single switches were fine.

We are running 03.07.01E we can try downgrading and see that fixes it. Thanks for the quick response.

We had the same problem and Steve shared his experience 3.3.3SE and this helped us.
Most likely unrelated but we also ran into another problem when using both SNMP v2 and v3 for discovery. Bug ID CSCuv51450.

Good to know about that one also. Thanks.

Just to update.. Steve you are the man thanks for your help. Downgrading did fixed it.
Daniel, Good to know about the bug as well good thing we are not mixing v2 and v3 here.
