CUCM 8.6 and Codec Design

I have CUCM 8.6 at HQ and 5 branches ,I'd like to use G711 inside the HQ(Lan) and G729 between the HQ and the branches .

Any support will be appreciated

In CCME, you cazn configure your phone to use whatever codec you prefer. So in this case configure the phones at your branch to use G729 codec. Its simple

Question is how do you make them use G729 between sites and G711 within site? I am not aware of doing this in CME as you surely can hard code the codec on ephone but you cannot defined multiple codecs like Regions in CUCM,  If the remote locations had their own CME then you simply control it with dial peers.
