Dears ,
I have an issue in remote phones that are connected through WAN link
when a user try to login it gives host not found
normal phones are working fine in same remote site without login enabled.
please advice

The phone may have an ITL issue. Check the status messages to see if it says something like TL update fail. Or jump right to deleting the ITL on the phone, then test EM again.
Host not found happens when the phone cannot connect to the server. Either because the phone cannot validate the certificate of the server, or because the phone cannot resolve the hostname, other things similar to this.

I have checked dns reachability and all required ports and all are set.
also reset the phone didnot solve the issue

Hi,
Is the EM issue for all remote sites or just for one particular site?
Have you verified EM at local site where CUCM servers are installed?
Have you tried upgrading one of the affected phone?

it was firewall issue
ports 8443&2445 must be allowed.
