Hi,
We are running CCM333 sr4a.We have a peculiar problem and would appreciate any suggestions.
We have 3 IP Phones whereby they have no Caller ID if the incoming call is from an external caller. However if the incoming call is from an internal phone, they have Caller ID.
The rest of the phones in the system does not have this problem. Only this 3 phones or rather DN.
This because is because if we assigned that 3 DN (directory number) to another phone, the problem follows to that new phone. We also checked that those 3 DNs are unique in the system via the route plan report generated.
All the phones are 7940G.
Appreciate any comments or suggestions.
Regards

Hi,
Did you check debug on the voicegateway?
(debug isdn q931, and see if cli is ok?)
And are these DDI numbers being translated differently? Maybe chage cli in the translation pattern?

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion. I checked the debug messages on the voicegateway and found that the
"calling party ID.." is missing for those 3 DNs. I will contact Telecoms about this.
I never expected this to happen as the 3 DNs were all fine till last week.
Regards
