Hi all.
I have CCM 4.0 and Unity servers. I need all incoming calls to a net line be forwarded to a user's voice mail box (VMB). I set up the new line on the user's IP Communicator to be forwarded to the user's extension. If I call extension of the user directly, I am forwarded to his VMB. If I call the new line and wait until it is forwarded to the user's extension, I can hear a general voice mail greeting (as the device is not configured for the user). What might be the problem?
Thank you in advance.
Arkadiy

Have you tried assigning the new line as an alternate extension to the users voice mailbox?

Sorry for typo. I meant "I need all incoming calls to a NEW line to be forwarded..."

If I understand you correctly you would like calls to a users IP communicator using a different directory number than his physical phone to also foward to the users mailbox which is programmed with the dirctory number of the users physical phone?
If this is the case then in the Unity Subscriber settings you will need to configure the users voicemail box with an alternate extension which will be the IP communicators directory number in Unity, I would also configure the IP communicators directory number under the subscribers voicemail box's Message Waiting Indicator.

The issue is resolved. Thank you, guys, you pointed me in right direction.
The problem was with the web-interface of Unity server, namely with scripts running on the page. When I tried to add the alternative extension to the user, it did not add it, neither it give any error messages. I never performed this task before, so did not know what it should look like. :)
Thank you again.
Your suggestions are very much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Arkadiy

CCM 4.0
Incoming calls to NEW line --> VMB
There is no problem this is WAD.
You can create a new VM profile with VM mask of the extension of the VMB user.
Assign this VM profile to the IP communicator and just select CF No Answer, CF Busy to VM.
