integration siemens epbx with ccm

Hi,

I have a Siemens EPBX which needs to be integrated with my CCM 4.1.3. In between there will be a router 3745 with E1 Controller card. The Siemens has a E1 PRI port from where the router will be connected and the CCM will be connected to the ethernet interface of that router.

Can anyone help me in getting the configuration to be done on the router and CCM using QSIG ... if I am not wrong about QSIG.

Thanks

Hi

Have a look at this portal:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/779/largeent/avvid/inter_operability/

It has lots of docs detailing various PBX integrations...

On CCM Gateway config, select interface protocol type as PRI QSIG E1

depending on what services your requiring etc, you may have to alter some of the default settings in CCM service parameters.

Hi,

Thanks for the router configuration.

My main objective is that i need those callback, transfer, conference and all those services to work properly with those PBX associated extensions and CCM 4.1.3 registered Directory Numbers.

In CCM side what else I need to do other than the gateway configuration.

Thanks

Afraid my setup is a bit different, in that I have a DPNSS PBX network, and use a third party piece of equipment to translate between QSIG and DPNSS.

However I had to change a few of the default settings, within Service Parameters>Advanced.

i.e.

Clusterwide Parameters (Feature Forward)

Clusterwide Parameters (Feature Path Replacement)

Clusterwide Parameteres Feature Callback)

suggest that you get the link operationally in a basic mode first, find out what works by default, then go from there.
