ip phone fastdial

we have a 3800 router and we are working on ccme . i want to add some numbers for fast dial ..i mean

if i want to call 12345678 thn i will assaign this number to 45 and whoever will press this 45 it should directly dial this number.

Read further down into the section Rob provided. Under the section Speed Dials and Abbreviated Dialing you will see the section on this. Abbreviated dialing is what you want to use. You will have to dial the number then the abbreviated dial softkey, that is how Cisco does it. You would also need to use the system wide directory entry option since you would like all users and a value over 33.

On-hook abbreviated dialing using the Abbr soft key is supported only on the following phone types:

?Cisco IP Phone 7905G

?Cisco IP Phone 7971G-GE

Cisco CME provides a number of mechanisms to implement speed dialing on IP and analog phones. This link provides a summary and comparison of the different types of speed dial that are available in Cisco CME systems.
