Ip phone show "DSP Keeplive Timeout"

hi everyone

The phone always no sound or talk halfway it gets cut off.

Error when cut off: "DSP Keeplive Timeout"

anyone encounter before?

Hi,

I have seen this twice.

1. We had an oversubscribed WAN link between the 2 phones experiencing the problem - causing too much latency and jitter.

2. We had buggy phone firmware - upgrade fixed it. This was back around ccm 3.1 though so this particular bug would have been fixed along time ago, not to say there isn't another now that reports the same error.

I have seen this a few times. Once a firmware upgrade corrected the problem. The other 2 times the phones had to be rma'd.

I've just done an install today, out of 40 phones 1 had this error and distorted sound.... same firmware on them all.

I'm having it RMA'd.
