Is it possible to have SRST as a failover of CM 3.1 in the same Lan?

I do want to set up SRST on the Gateway for failover suport of the Call Manager in the same LAN. Is it possible?

Which will be my problems in this configuration?

I don't think there will be a problem with this. It should not matter if it is the same vlan as the ccm or not. The thing it should try to open the default gateway when it cannot connect to ccm and the phone is configure for srst in ccm device config.

When the CM fail the gateway with SRST handle the phone, but what happens when the CM is alive again. Will the phone come back to CM?

When the ccm comes back, the phone will automatically goes back to CCM
