Do you know if we can install Jabber for desktop on Windows 2008 R2 RDS (Remote Desktop Services) or Windows 2012 RDS?
The customer is using Windows 2008 Remote Desktop Services per Sesion, they are considering migrate to Windows 2012 RDS.
They receive their desktop through RDP protocol. We would like to know if Jabber is compatible with this scenario?
Thanks

Would the Jabber web based SDK be supported with 2008 R2 RDS?

Supported Jabber SDK platforms/browsers are on jabberdeveloper.com, e.g. for voice/video ... http://developer.cisco.com/web/jabber-developer/voice-overview
Windows RDS is not on any of these lists, so it's not supported. That said, the non real-time workloads may work fine, e.g. IM/P, but use thereof would be at one's own risk.

Ok, Jabber for Windows Is not supported in Win2008 RDS mode, but does it work e.g. the im/presence part ?
Has anyone tested this ?
