Hello,
When users launch Jabber or during auto-launch of Jabber on a Windows desktop a message is being displayed:
WebView Runtime not installed
If the user clicks OK on the message, they are able to use Jabber without issue but we would prefer the message to not appear on the screen. How do we get rid of the message?
Thank you.

Hi there,
Please check whether you are hitting the bug (CSCwh77647).
J4W 14.2: pop up for WebView missing comes up every time Jabber is started.
The workaround mentioned in the bug is to install Microsoft Edge webview2 on Windows machine.
Installation guide: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/consumer/
Please check the Jabber version and if not 14.3, try upgrading to 14.3 (Download Cisco Jabber (webex.com)).

Hello!
Thank you for the quick response.
1) I confirmed that Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is indeed installed
2) I also confirmed that we are running 14.2.0.58008. We are running this on a VDI desktop. When I click the link to download Cisco Jabber, I click on the link "Download Jabber VDI" but am not sure which download to select after that:
2a) Download Jabber client
2b) Download VDI agent for Jabber
2c) Download VDI client for Jabber
I have attached a few screenshots for reference.
Thank you.

You are using a version that has a bug and needs to be upgraded to the fixed versions. You can download the fixed versions from this link without logging in: https://www.webex.com/downloads/jabber/jabber-vdi.html
Follow the instructions in the Deployment and Installation Guide for Cisco Jabber Softphone for VDI Release 14.0: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jvdi/14_0/dig/jvdi_b_deploy-install-jvdi-14-0.html

Thank you for this information.
So I need to install the agent first and then Jabber for Windows?

Hi,
On VDI (HVD) You should install Jabber VDI Agent first and then Jabber For Windows.
On the client install Jabber VDI client.
Respect this order and see what happens.
Here the software download links
Thanks
