Modemproblems with VG248 and CCM 3.3.2

CCM 3.3.2 with 36XX PSTN Gateway H323

VG248 for analog Fax and Modems

I want to use VG248 for analog Dial in Modems.

But it ´s confused. The connections are dirty or corrupted. If i get a connection the speeds are low.

I changes the VG248 Konfig to IOS mode but it´s no solution. Is there somebody who has a functional configuration for me or a idea for a functional configuration parameter?

I´m using VG248 with modem and everything works fine.

I´m using IOS mode too.

I presume you are using modem passtrough on the H323 gateway.

Hey there,

I have done about 5 VG248 install's and there have been much talk through Cisco about the analog services over IP. The VG248 can only do about 30kbps; some faxes will have problems if you try to send at super g3 speeds.

DDTS:CSCdv37478 shows the connection speed limitation.

These guys can be a pain and require tweaking for specific fax machines. Some modem apps won't work. Analog lines are your saviour if you need a quick solution.
