Hi All,
Is there a way to change/modify calling name of inbound call coming from isdn ? currently, when calls come in , the calling name is empty (blank). I wonder if there is a way to fill the field.
Regards.

Hi,
The inbound calling name I suppose will depend on your Telco facilities and your country. It can be done howover using CallTracer. Which basically just does a lookup of a defined table. and then makes the name appear if it can cross reference the number. Here is the link

Thanks

Hi Paul,
Thank you for the information. I read that CallTracer is used for call manager. is there a way we can do it for call manager express ?
Regards.

Configure directory entries for the calling numbers, this will associate names easily.
Since you're limited to 99 entries with this method, I've written number2name scripts to use a text file or HTTP for lookup;

If I wanted to use a local text file for the lookup, what format in the text file should it be ?
