Hi,
I have a problem with a 2600 that doesn't give ring-back tone when I make a call from an Ip Phone to outside through the ISDN port. Ios version on this router is 12.2.(4).
I have already tried to configure on the dial-peer # pots that go outside the commands:
progress_ind alert enable 8
progress_ind setup enable 3
as indicated on the troubleshooting for this problem, but these doesn't solve the problem.
I have made the same configuration on another 2600 with Ios 12.2(1) and this works. Could be the Ios the problem for the ring-back tone?

Hi,
I'm not sure about IOS, but it could be just a routing problem. Try to add ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 eth0/0 .Hope it helps.

Hi,
try it again with:
"voice call send-alert " global command.
This sends an alert message instead of progress.
Good Luck

I've already configured 'voice call send-alert', but it still doesn't work.
Thanks
