Does a reboot of the phone, disrupt the Ethernet connection?
I'm performing an upgrade to CallManager from 4.1(2) to 4.2.(3) and the possibility of a reboot to the phones exists. Our accounting department nmight be working on month end issues. Their computers use the pass-through port on a 7940 or 7960 IP phone and I would like to make sure that their network connection will not be interrupted during any processing.
Thanks
Debbie

You should not see any loss of PC port connectivity.
Hope this helps.

If the phones are in separate VLANs from the Data (PCs) VLAN, you should be fine.
