hi ALL,
It will be of great help to me if anyone wuld tell me which ports I may have to enable on the checkpoint firewall to enable the VOIP services using the CISCO ATA 186 .

RTP(real time protocol) what the actually voice uses is 16384-32767. The other ports depend on what protocol you are using to control the ATA. If you are using h.323 it would be something like 1719 and 1720. If you are using MGCP it would be something like 2427 and 2428. For skinny it would be port 2000. If you are doing sip I am not sure what port it would use.

You have only H.323 or Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) as the operating signaling protocol for the Cisco ATA 186. for H323 and RTP McKee has already given you the port numbers.
For SIP you have UDP port 5060. Please check the following link:
