Hello ,
I have CCM 3.2(2C) with SPF.When ever I try to change the ringer type it says ringer busy .The call manager was upgraded from 3.1(3a) to 3.2(2C).I did nto have this problem in the previous version of CCM.
Does any one have any idea on this.

I have had this in the past. When you experience the ringer busy, I found that if you then call the set from another phone it will release the Ringer State and let you then change the ringer type on the set. Good Luck.

It's a problem with the basic phone load in 3.2(2c), P00303020204. The bug-id is CSCdx82106. Upgrade to the 3.2(5) release of phone loads for 7940/7960 on CallManager 3.2. This will update your phone loads to P00303020214. You can get it here:

There are newer loads for CallManager 3.2 available, 3.2(6) and 3.2(7), but they both have very annoying bugs. 3.2(5) seems to be the sweet spot.
