Hi everyone ,
I have DMP 4310G with 5.4 firmware version.
and DMMVM 5.4.
what I want to ask is, how to rotate content in DMP 4310G and DMMVM 5.4 ?
because I check menu webgui in DMP 4310G with firmware 5.4 or DMD and I cant find setting to rotate browser or rotate video content.
display that I have rotated 90 degrees so it's almost like a portrait display.
Please help everyone.
Thanks and regards,
Ridho

Hi Ridho
Where you able to resolve this?
In the DMD you can set the canvas orintation and when adding videos you can ensure they are rotated using a video editing app, but I am not sure how it is done for browser content. The 4400 has a setting for this on the players webgui.
Basically I have the same problem.
Cheers

Ridho & Andy,
Portrait Mode is not officially supported to have a portrait presentation on 4310 DMP.
However I could find the below information that you could try the following but remember this is not officially supported.
- Make a vertical presentation in the DMD.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/video/digital_media_systems/5_x/5_3/dmd/user/guide/dmdug.pdf
(Search for Portrait Orientation)
- Then run a system task or this url to rotate the flash player:
https://
- Then push out the presentation to the DMP.
note: All videos will still have to be processed at creation in the DMD if
they want to be played vertically.
I hope this helps!
Cheers

Dear Thomas ,
Thanks for your help.
hmm ,about this command ...
https://
is this command can be saved in DMP configuration after I reboot or accidentally power failure on DMP ?
Thanks and regrads,
Ridho

Ridho,
It should save it unless the startup URL or presentation changes it back. The easiest way to test is rotate the screen and then send the rotated presentation to the DMP. Verify the rotation is working and the rotated presentation is the startup URL and then reboot.
Check the results to see what the default behavior is.

Slight hijack on this post sorry Tomas..
In regards to the HTML support on the 4310, what does it actully support?
How should a page be coded to display correctly as it seems to be hit and miss with general sites we have been trying.
Cheers
