SIP proxy server and Call Manager and Cisco Ip phones

Hello,

I have few questions regrading SIP proxy server and Cisco IP phones and call manager.

1.Can SIP proxy server do conferencing functionality like Callmanager?Do you need any hardware resources for this/

2.If I have SIP phones do I really need callmanager .I would assume no.What are the components that are necessary for SIP .ie sip phones,proxy server and then ...?

3.Does any ACD functionality supported with cisco SIp proxy server ?

CAn any one help on this.
