I have CM 3.3 and Unity 3.1.5 (both centralized). IP phone to IP phone calls between regions are working properly and are using g729. Calls to Unity from a g729 region don't work. The g729 codec is installed and enabled. It appears that Unity isn't transcoding for g729 calls.

Somewhere along the line this was changed to set automatically but you might check to be sure the G729a support is enabled in the registry. Check this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Active Voice\AvSkinny "G729 Enabled"
it's a DWORD and should be set to 1 for Unity to accept g729a calls.

Yep, this entry is already there, and Unity has been restarted since the entry was added.
Any other thoughts?
When a voicemail call is attempted the phone display shows that voicemail was called, but then disconnects.
