All,
I am currently running a definity system with unity mail the definity is currently G3V4 and the unity is 3.1 build 3.1(5), we are going to be upgrading the definity to version R11. The two are linked using PBX Link. My question is... are we going to be able to upgrade the definity without having to upgrade the unity, and also is there anything that i should be prepaired for ?

Brian,
Your question could likely be more completely answered under the Unified Communications forum of this site. I am not aware of any required upgrade to the Unity system. It is an analog integration for the audio with SMDI messages coming from the Calista to Unity so this should remain the same always. Upgrading the Definity could potentially change the digital signaling to the PBXLink though, so I would recommend contacting Calista (www.calista.com) to confirm PBXLink version interoperability with your destination version of Definity code. /Wes

You should be fine..no upgrade necessary on the Unity.
R11 is pretty sweet did you pop for the s8700 package?
