2950 ports - shutdown

Hi,

Is there a way to shutdown a range of ports, for example ports 13-24, instead of shutting down each port individually?

Hi

You can try this (but I don't know if your HW/SW version supports it):

Switch#conf t

Switch(config)#int range fasteth 0/13 - 24

Switch(config-if-range)#shutdown

Any newer IOS switch such as the 2950 supports the interface range command .
