Please help Router eats up memory All of a sudden

This is happening for the past few days

The router was working fine till a few days ago.

Nachi virus ???

let me try to put a acl on and see if its the virus.

You most likely have the nachi virus. Cisco has documented ways to create route-maps to help with the problem.

should be a Nachi.. just do a "ip route-cache flow" in the ethernet interface and give the command "sh ip cache flow".

if the dest port is 0800 it is a icmp type 8 nachi virus. apply a "deny icmp any any" on the ethernet to stop this.

the attack can also be on some standard ports like 80, 69 etc. just confirm.

You need to apply patches from microsoft to the clients for preventing this..
