Solved: report on the serial numbers of the Cat switches

We're running CWLMS 2.1 to monitor the Cat-6506's, Cat-2980G's and Cat-2950's. Is there a way in the LMS to create a report or just ist the serial numbers of the switches?

Ah, but there is. Select Custom Reports under RME's Inventory and choose the Create button. You can then make your own report on serial numbers - just choose Serial Number as your Report Type.

Use Detailed Device Reports. There is no single report just for the device serial numbers.

If you can get a list of your switches in ciscoworks you could then run a network show command job using a "show version" command and this will give you a report of the serial numbers on your switches .
