Hi Herve,

That means we have layer 1 and layer 2 conenctivity to the DSLAM. Now are you getting an IP under Dialer interface? We must need now to find out if we are communicating with your ISP's DSL Agg device, please enable and capture the below debugs:

-debug ppp negotation

-debug ppp authentication

Regards.

Hi Juan,

Thanks for your answer.

Status of Dialer

Dialer0 is up, line protocol is up (spoofing)

  Hardware is Unknown

Internet address will be negotiated using IPCP

Hi Herve,

You are very welcome. It seems there is an authentication issue:

Once you send a response to the CHAP cahllenge using your credentials:

O RESPONSE id 1 len 36 from "fti/***************"

You get a failure message from ISP:

I FAILURE id 1 len 42 msg is "CHAP authentication failure, u

nit 8672"

Immediately you get a termination request.

I TERMREQ [Open] id 81 len 4

I would recommend checking credentials (user/pass) with them.

Regards.

Thanks a lot ! That works !

Identifier was wrong

Glad to know everything is working.

Hi,

Don't understand ...

The interface ATM0/0 is down.

Any idea ?
