Hello Team,
Getting attached error while I try to configure Remote Storage on FMC for backups.
Am using windows server NFS for this.
Kindly assist.

Connection timed out seems to indicate that your FMC isn't able to reach the server. Can you ssh to your FMC, enter shell with "expert" and check that you can reach your NFS server by running "telnet (nfs server IP) 2049"?

Adding to other posts.
1. basic testing,FMC reachable to NFS Server ?
2. check on the NFS server any errors ?
. Looks for me reachability and permission issue

Hello team, this worked, seemed to be an access issue.
But still not working how i intended.
Have don scheduling for the fmc and the managed device. for the managed device i did not check the 'retrieve to fmc'. so whats happening is on remote storage i have only backup for the fmc, not able to see the ftd.
Did I miss something?

have you created FTD backup profile ?
you need to setup FTD backup also.
ā04-29-2024 02:28 AM
yes i have
wait, actually the jobs are successful,
but on remote storage where do i get FTD backup files, currently just seing fmc backup file.
ā04-29-2024 07:00 AM
sf-storage\xxxxxxxxxxxxxx\backups
you see both FMC and FTD backups.
ā04-29-2024 10:43 PM
for the FTD i dont need to have 'retrieve to fmc' checked correct?

Am still able just to see the FMC backup alone ...
