Hi,
I have an old 2821 with an 12.3 version ios. On that I can do like this:
interface GigabitEthernet0/0
no ip address
duplex auto
speed auto
dot1x port-control force-authorized
!
interface GigabitEthernet0/0.150
encapsulation dot1Q 150
ip address 26.26.26.9 255.255.255.252
!
where I use the command dot1x port-control force-authorized
to enable dot1q tunneling..
I now have an new 2821 with a
c2800nm-advsecurityk9-mz.124-12.bin
version..
and it will not give me the option on the command above. So to speak, I am not able to create subinterfaces on it!
Any one knows how to..

you have currently adavanced security feature set IOS running on 2821.
you need to run IP PLUS feature set IOS on your router, after which you will be able to create sub-interfaces on it.
