HI all,
Lately my 7204 vxr router has been going crazy on me. I have noticed that from time to time, the cup usage jumps to 99%. Now what I have been doing is clearing the IP NAT translations that it is doing and that seems to fix that problem.
Now is this a bug in the IOS or is it simply a memory problem that I can fix by getting more.

Could be an IOS bug or a memory leak due to the config. You might also need to shorten the timeout values on some of the connections. Try using this to shorten the output of your "sh proc cpu":
alias exec ps show proc cpu | excl 0.00%__0.00%__0.00%
This will drop anything reading 0.00% and leave you with what you were looking for in the first place. Hope this helps.
