ASR 1001-X EOL/EOS - final software release supported

I'm checking the last support milestones of ASR 1001-X platform.

The EOL bulletin states last HW support steps:

The most recent major SW release supported is IOS-XE 17.9. Its EOL bulletin states that security support will end on September 30 2026:

It seems that ASR 1001-X will not support new IOS-XE releases greater than 17.9 because if it would, it should be already there (for 17.12 for example). So correct me if I'm wrong, so I should consider that 17.9 is the final SW release for platform ASR 1001-X and its very last SW support date is September 30 2026. Right ?

The "highest" or latest train an ASR 1001-X can support is 17.9.X.  

Officially, 17.9.5e was the latest release (15 December 2024).  There are many factors and reasons that will decide if a "17.9.6" comes out in the next 8 months (or not).
