Cannot Ping between Wireless Devices connected to 4500

We are using 5508 Wireless Controller with FlexConnect.

We can not ping between wireless clients that are connected to WAPs that are wired into the 4500.  We can ping from a hardwired device(into the 4500) and from wireless devices connected to WAPs not connected to the 4500.

A few questions:

Can these clients ping the 4500 when connected to these WAPs?

Can they ping other clients connected to the same WAP?

Can they ping other devices on the network?

Are these devices on the same or different VLANs?

If there's multiple layer 3 devices in between, what does a traceroute come up with?
