Hi guys,

Pardon me for a newbie question.  I have configured the box and done the usual wr, copy run start, and the box keeps coming up with the initial config dialog?

What am I missing?

Thanks for the help.

Jason

Sounds like maybe your config register setting is not correct.

Boot it up, go through the process and do a show version.

The config register setting should be 0x2102

If it is some value other than that you can change it.

Router#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.
Router(config)#config-register 0x2102
Router(config)#end
Router#show version

Hope this helps.
