How many maximum GigEthernet interfaces I can use at the same time on the base model (without extra cards) ? Based on what I've read, 3 is the number. Please confirm that is correct. Thanks

I haven't yet had hands-on with a 3945, but according to all the documentation the 3945 (not the 3945E) has three built-in gig interfaces, two of which also support SFPs.

E and non-E are the same in that regard.

According to one of the Cisco docs I was just looking at, 3945E claims to have another (fourth) gig port beyond what the 3945 offers.
See Table 2 in: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps10538/aag_c45_556315.pdf

May be I did not make it clear, based on the doc the 3945 has 3 GE interfaces. My question was "How many GE interface can I use maximum at the same time?"
e.g. 3825 has 3 built-in GE interfaces but only 2 can be used max with 1 SFP option.
Thanks
